Wing and tail surface painting

Before painting, all the fabric surfaces were wet sanded down. The same 2K satin white paint used on the body was used on the wings and tail surfaces and black on the rudders. An elastic additive (20%) was added to the paint to make it flexible and to prevent cracking.

Typhoon WIG Hovercraft

We are an undergraduate final year project group based at the University of KwaZulu-Natal, mechanical engineering. We were tasked with researching, designing and manufacturing South Africa's first Wing-In-Ground Effect (WIG) Hovercraft, designated the Typhoon.
